Incredible Dispense Speeds For Fast Label Application

The 360a High Speed Label Applicator comes with a unique and specially designed stepper drive that is capable of dispensing labels at speeds of 2100 inches/minute.

With the built-in dual microprocessor on board, this label applicator is capable of variable speeds depending on workload. The 360a high speed label applicator is programmable from 1500 inches per minute to 2100 inches per minute, with oversize unwind and rewind.

This applicator has also been programmed with speed profiling ability to determine accurate label application speed.

State-of-the-Art Microprocessor Control Setup

The 360a High Speed Label Applicator is equipped with state-of-the-art electronics featuring a dual microprocessor control.

One 32-bit processor supervises the application program while the digital signal processor (USP) supervises the motion loop resulting in faster response times and improved application accuracy.

Removal and repair is simplified with the control setup to eliminate downtime and cost.

The 360a High Speed Label Applicator controller is also equipped with onboard I/O, prewired to external connectors to accommodate the following:

  • Low Label Conditions
  • Web Break and End of Web Conditions
  • Tamp Extend & Tamp Home Switching
  • Rate & Velocity Compensation
  • Profiling
  • Zero Downtime Configuration of Applicators

Each machine is shipped pre-programmed with pre-wired connectors to control all of the above accessories. (Some additional hardware may be required.)

Configurable Label Application Method

Like our other commercial label applicator models, the 360a High Speed Label Applicator is able to be configured based on the needs of your facility. Labels can be applied using one of three methods: air blow, tamp and merge.

Please note that each application method has its own minimum and maximum label sizes.
